You can collect actual resource consumption data from Linux devices. You can run scans in the Movere Console, or from the command line. Scan supported Linux devices from Active Directory, from specific subnets, or using DNS or IP addresses. You run actual resource consumption scanning to capture device consumption data from Windows Server devices, to show system performance over time. Devices can be domain-joined or not connected to the domain such as devices in a workgroup. Scan Windows devices with Windows Server operating systems, Windows client operating systems from Active Directory domains, or by device FQDN, DNS, or IP address.
Movere can reach any device if it is online. Movere doesn't require a VMware or a hypervisor environment. Movere scans devices independent of the platform (windows or linux) or hosting provider (on-premises environment, private cloud or public cloud). Movere can scan, discover, and capture your on-premises environment, and devices in other public clouds such as AWS and GCP. Starting from Lansweeper 10.4, the command is required to install the classic version of Lansweeper.This article describes scanning in Movere.
Having multiple servers with the same name is not supported.įor Lansweeper Classic installations, use the below command. Make sure the secondary server doesn't have the same name as another one of your scanning servers. Make sure your SQL Server instance is correctly configured to accept connections from remote machines.If you are currently using SQL Compact or SQL LocalDB as your database server, you can migrate your installation to SQL Server. The Microsoft SQL LocalDB and (deprecated) Microsoft SQL Compact database servers don't allow services to remotely connect to the database, so these database servers cannot be used for multi scanning server setups.
