Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has rejected the idea of a ceasefire at the moment, as it would leave Russia in control of nearly a fifth of his country and give its military time to regroup. He also claimed Ukraine had lost 415 tanks and 1,300 armoured vehicles since 4 June. On the question of starting peace talks, he said Russia "did not reject them" and "there needs to be agreement on both sides" for them to begin. It was made up of 10 points, including a call for peace through negotiations, ensuring the sovereignty of states and security guarantees to all countries.
